If you really capable of managing Funtoo, you do Know how to do that.

You can recover (create new) your password by editing the Grub boot line or using the recovery mode option at the the boot menu.

Google is your friend.

I also found it strange, the guy uses Funtoo bsd arch gentoo slackware and not do it?
