Compilação Classpath 0.99

Olá a todos. Estou tentando compilar o classpath versão 0.99 para uma distro Linux de nome OpenDingux. Já fiz outras compilações semelhantes que usam o arquivo configure e tudo correu bem. Nesta porém eu defino o compilador gcc, o configure encontra, mas dá o seguinte erro no terminal:

Será que alguém pode me ajudar com isso? Aparentemente é um problema de compatibilidade de comandos, mas não sei como resolvê-los. Aguardo respostas. Obrigado desde já.
