Duvida em relação a video

Ola pessoal recentemente instalei o ubuntu 10.04 em meu notebook positivo com video SIS671 (sim sofrimento).

Pergunta: Instalei a versão 2D do drive q corrigiu o problema de resolução, entretanto, meu video parece uma carroça, quando vou assistir filme em fullscreen fica quadro a quadro. Isso é normal? Senão como corrigir essa falha?

Abraços, e ajude-me. Não tenho dinheiro para comprar outro note, caso não resolva vou ter q voltar pro Windows mesmo!

Manda o lspci do seu notebook pra gente dar uma olhada e o xorg.conf...
