Terminal cortando mensagens longas.

Meu terminal do kali corta as mensagens longas com um sinal de > estive tentando mudar isso na aba de preferências do terminal mas não achei a que muda isso e mostra as mensagens completas, vou deixar um link de uma foto do drive com um exemplo

primeira coisa, vamos ver se isso não está na configuração do seu terminal.
Num terminal, dá um comando:

# cat ~/.bashrc 

e posta o conteúdo total do seu arquivo de bash aqui.

I'm new to ubuntu using the terminal to code some ruby. Everytime I run this command it outputs like 600 lines of data that I need to analyze. But when I try to scroll up to see everything alot of the output is cut off.
