Erro upt-get update no Ubuntu 14.04 não deixa instalar nenhum programa

estou tentando executar sudo apt-get update para configurar meu ambiente pra Ruby on Rails mas não estou tendo sucesso com meu terminal quem passou pelo meu mesmo problema eu peso ajuda já estou a cinco dias ate agora nada de funciona testei varias comando pra tentar deixar o mesmo acessível mas nada adiantou por ultimo estou aqui agora pedindo ajudar de quantos poder resolver isso como eu sou novo no linux eu peso um passo a passo se possível desde já agradeço a todos abaixo tem todo resultado que o terminal apresentou na ultimo vez que tentei de forma frustada

já verificou os dns da sua maquina ?

tente estes comandos...

sudo apt-get autoclean

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

Possibilidades:
1. Sua máquina pode não ter conexão à internet.
2. A conexão a internet pode estar bloqueada.
3. Sua máquina ou o fornecedor da conexão pode ter bloqueado os hosts dos repositórios.
4. Os repositórios estão offline, você deve aguardar até que estejam online.
