Problemas com a instalação [RESOLVIDO]

Estou encontrando problemas na instalação de aplicativos no meu Ubuntu(13.04), apresenta o seguinte problema, "Dependência de pacotes não pode ser concluída". Acontece com vários aplicativos (quase todos). E o Ubuntu não reconhece minha placa de video, tive que desativar a placa off-board para poder instalá-lo, uma GeForce 9500GT. Se puderem me ajudar.

1-mantenha seu Ubuntu atualizado >> abra TERMINAL >> rode o comando >> sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

2-prefira usar a Central Programas p/ instalar programas extras

3-p/ ativar drivers proprietarios vá em configuração sistema >> sistema > programas/atualizações >> drivers adicionais

4-ainda em programas/atualizações >> aplicativos/ubuntu >> marque todos >> mude servidor p/ principal

5-ainda em programas/atualizações >> atualizações >> marque todos >> exceto raring-proposed

-vc está usando o ubuntu-gutsy-7.10 , lançado em outubro/2007 e que está obsoleto e s/ atualizações desde abril/2009
-instale o ubuntu-12.04-lts ou o ubuntu-13.04

Eu tentei consertar ele e devo ter configurado ele errado, eu uso a versão 13.04. Lembro que alterei "/etc/apt/sources.list", creio que pode ter sido isso, não tem como reparar?

PS: O que você me recomendou consertou o problema de instalação dos aplicativos.

-edite sua sources-list e exclua tudo do gutsy
-deixe apenas do raring
