Olá,

sou usuária à pouco tempo do linux, mas estou gostando bastante por sua velocidade e quase que inausência de problemas!

O sistema roda macio.......

Então, estou tendo um único problema, mas não estou conseguindo resolver...

Todo dia ao ligar o computador ele trava. Tudo congela, nem sequer o mouse mexe, e as luzes no teclado ficam piscando... o único jeito de reiniciar é no botão mesmo.

Aí a segunda vez que ligo ele funciona normalmente.

E todo dia é a mesma coisa.

Trava, reinicio "na força" e funciona tudo certo.

Então vi uma pessoa comentar que eu deveria reinstalar a distro: reinstalei e nada.

Então resolvi tentar o XuBuntu... e continuou o mesmo problema!

(Voltei pro Mint pois prefiro, mas o problema persiste).

Já atualizei, e nada.

Tem mais um detalhe: duas vezes além de travar, o pc entrou direto no setup e exibiu a seguinte mensagem:

"Message confirmation: the system intruded, chassis opened or tempered before, please check the system."

O gabinete está fechado, todos os coolers funcionando.........

Alguém tem uma ideia do que devo fazer???

Então, ele trava depois do login.

Já carregou a área de trabalho, aí ele trava.

Mas duas vezes ele apareceu aquela mensagem no começo, antes do login, e entrou no setup, com a mensagem que falei no post.

Mas pode ser que sejam problemas diferentes, né?

Bem, encurtando: trava após o login, quando a área de trabalho já carregou.....

# Tive problemas com vídeo/lentidão após o Login no Mint12 Lisa.

> Resolvi o problema desativando os efeitos da Área de Trabalho, pode dar certo no seu caso.

Se a Placa de Vídeo tiver pouca Memória os efeitos ficam lentos
e o PC também, então tirando os efeitos ganha-se um certo desempenho.


----- No KDE o caminho é o seguinte:
> menu K,
> digite: desktop effects
> Clique no Ícone Desktop Effects
aberta a tela ...
> clique na aba Advanced (Avançado)
> na opção Composition Type (tipo de composição)
> troque OpenGL por XRender
> Dê OK e reinicie o PC.

O problema não é lentidão, minha placa de vídeo é muito boa (Nvidia 7950), o computador tem ótima velocidade.

O problema é o seguinte: sempre a primeira inicialização quando ligo o computador após o login o sistema congela, então reinicio pelo botão (pois não tenho escolha), e da segunda vez tudo fica resolvido.

Tenho medo que isso repetidamente danifique o computador.

Estou rodando o Mint 12 64 bits com o Mate, mas com o Xubuntu aconteceu a mesma coisa...

Não sei mais o que fazer.

Quando eu usava Ruindows isso não acontecia.

Depois que passei pro Linux começou.

Já reinstalei uma porção de vezes e o problema persiste.

Você tem idéia do que poderia ser? Poderia fazer algumas tentativas diferentes aqui.

Tenta usar a versão x86... que é a de 32 bits.

Se a pessoa tem uma máquina atual não interessa se usa a versão de 32 ou 64 bits.

Qual gerenciador de janelas (X) você usa? Tipo Gnome, Gnome (Clássico), Kde, Mate, etc...


Outra coisa.
1. Antes de logar, aperte Ctrl + F1, logue como root, digite o comando dmesg e poste aqui.

2. Qual modelo exato da sua placa?

Mariana,

Creio que o fato de dar o erro tanto no Mint como no Ubuntu, é porque os dois usam os mesmos repositórios, pacotes etc, tão logo creio que sua placa e periféricos foram configurados com os mesmos pacotes nas duas distros.

Antes de fazer o login, faça o seguinte:

Ctrl + 1

Faça o login como root e execute o seguinte comando:

# service lightdm stop
# lightdm --test-mode

Tente fazer o login e veja se trava. Caso não funcione, antes de efetuar o login, tente atualizar o driver da sua placa de vídeo direto com o pacote fornecido pela nVidia. Volte para o tty1 (Ctrl + 1), faça o login como root e:

# wget http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/295.53/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.53.run
Após configurar o novo driver, reinicie a máquina.

Caso mesmo atualizando o driver não adiante, tente atualizar todo seu SO, como root:
# apt-get check (verificar se tem algum pacote quebrado)
# apt-get update
# apt-get dist-upgrade

Reinicie, e tente novamente.

Oi Mac,

desculpe a demora em responder, quebrei o dedo do pé e fiquei meio fora do ar.

Bem, sobre o outro problema...

Lembra que eu disse que o pc sempre trava ao ligar cedo? No resto do dia quase nunca travou, então para ter certeza, quis iniciá-lo pelo menos dois dias, pra postar.

E até agora, o problema foi RESOLVIDO!

Nem estou acreditando, isso tava parecendo uma saga, só faltava ir pra Mordor jogar o pc nas fornalhas da Montanha da Perdição auhu aaaauh

Bem, como você mandou 5 instruções, pensamos em testar cada uma pra ver qual realmente resolveria.

Como foi feito:

1) Fazer o teste mode: não chegou a ser feito
2) Atualizar o driver da placa de vídeo: já havíamos feito
3) apt-get check: Fizemos, e não detectou nada errado.
4) apt-get update: quase todo dia faço esse update por aquele atalho na barra inferior, que acredito ser a mesma coisa. Por isso sei que esse não foi a solução.
5) apt-get dist-upgrade: esse deu resultado!

Espero que isso possa ajudar outros com o mesmo problema.

Então pessoal........

a saga continua, meu problema do computador travar ao iniciar voltou!

Para os que não haviam lido este tópico, basta ler as postagens anteriores que explico tudo detalhadamente.

Como isso faz alguns dias, aprofundei minha observação para tentar entender o que está acontecendo.

E hoje pela manhã tive uma pista.

Utilizo dois monitores em minha máquina.

Ontem a noite quando estava trabalhando, mexi no gabinete e desconectei um dos monitores por acidente.

Hoje pela manhã liguei o computador pra trabalhar e só depois de ligado lembrei que um dos monitores estava desconectado, mas como o computador já havia iniciado e estava com pressa de ler o e-mail, fiquei usando um só monitor.

E pro meu espanto, ele não travou! E pra ter certeza, deixei meia hora ligado (ele sempre trava depois de uns 2 minutos de carregado o desktop).

Então eu desliguei o computador, conectei o outro monitor novamente, liguei, e como sempre... ele travou!

Logo, acredito que o problema REALMENTE possa estar ligado ao fato de eu utilizar dois monitores, pois com um só ele não travou!

Agora é a questão: onde devo mexer, que configuração devo alterar, o que devo fazer pra tentar solucionar isso?
