Olá terráqueos.
Estou iniciando minha jornada no Linux e decidi instalar o Mint porque é o que o meu professor usa, logo o suporte será melhor kk
Porém gostaria de algumas opiniões, seguem as informações da minha máquina.
Modelo: Aspire V3-571

Instalei o Mint Cinnamon e gostaria de saber se é necessário configurar memória swap nele para melhorar desempenho.
E também quanto a questões de segurança, apenas ativei o firewall porém sem nenhum tipo de regra... segurança no Linux também sou leigo, vocês indicam realizar mais alguma coisa ?
E validando os processos até que ele está rodando bem porém a inicialização está demorando, após a inicialização vai de boa.

Se o seu firewall for o "ufw" instale uma interface gráfica para ele.
Comando:
$ sudo apt-get install gufw
Apos instalar o "gufw" configure:
Se você for um usuário normal, você estará seguro com esta opção (Estado=Ligado, Entrada=Negar, Saída=Permitir).

CPU Q6600 GTX 750 SofRaid 4xSSD 4Gb DDR2 mesmo assim uso Lubuntu.
