MEU UBUNTU 16.04 NÃO INSTALA NADA

Galera eu instalei o ubuntu 16.04 no meu notebook pois eu acho um dos melhores SO que tem, porém sempre que vou instalar um programa eu não consigo instalar, já tentei como root, já tentei normal, mas não instala nada, sempre aparece essa mensagem:

E: Tipo '“deb' não é conhecido na linha 57 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list

Tava tentando instalar o Spotify, o Kdenlive e o VLC porém em todos quando eu dava o comando

sudo apt-get update

aparecia essa mensagem

Poste todo o resultado do comando: cat /etc/apt/sources.list

configurações/sistema >> sistema >> programas/atualizações >> outros/programas >> desmarque tudo >> deixe marcado apenas parceiros/canonical >> feche aplicativo >> reinicie pc >> tente instalar programas desejados corretamente

remova 1 dessas linhas, depois ou vc remove as aspas da linha que ficou ou coloca uma hashtag (#) na frente dela.

Já tentei remover, porém quando abro o arquivo com o editor de texto não aparece nada, eu to tentando instalar o KDENLIVE, porém aparece o mesmo erro, gostaria de saber o procedimento passo a passo, pois sou novo no Ubuntu e to gostando do SO, porém estou encontrando essas dificuldades em relação a instalar programas. Já tentei abrir pelo Ubuntu Software e não aprece nenhum programa... Por favor me ajude a solucionar esse erro.

No terminal: sudo gedit etc/apt/sources.list

As linhas estarão logo no final do arquivo, ponha uma tralha ( # ) na frente de cada linha. Não remova por enquanto.
Salve e feche o arquivo.. Depois atualize: sudo apt-get update
