Vista e Ubuntu [RESOLVIDO]

Bom dia,

Vou contar tudo desde o começo.
Criei 2 partições no notebook, um estava o Windows Vista e a outra partição era para backups.
Infelizmente corrompeu um arquivo de inicialização e como já estava na hora, resolvi formatar.
Instalei o Windows Vista na partição que era dos backups e, em seguida, apaguei a partição do Windows Vista antigo e criei a partição para o Ubuntu.
Após instalar o Ubuntu, reiniciei a máquina. O Ubuntu abriu direto sem mostrar a lista de Sistemas Operacionais da máquina.
Entrei no menu.lst do grub para inserir o Windows Vista no menu. Mas até agora estou sem sucesso.

Ele não aparece nem para você escolher entre as opções de Ubuntu ou só não aparce o Windows? Chega a aparecer a tel do Grub? Você instalou o Grub na MBR?

Está aparecendo a lista.

Quando seleciono o Windows Vista dá a seguinte mensagem:
Error 12: invalid device requested

Se seleciono o Ubuntu, vai normalmente.

Resolvi.
A partição do windows não era inicializável.
