WiFi Ubunto 14.04 não está funcionando!

Ola, bom de um dia para o outro o WiFi do meu ubunto 14.04 parou de funcionar, não consigo achar outras redes e também quando clico no ícone lá em cima as opções Rede WiFi/ WiFi desabilitado por hardware/ Habilitar WiFi estão apagadas ou seja não da pra clicar, agradeço desde já se alguem min ajudar, Obrigado

Boa tarde,

Isso se dá por causa da "bendita" placa de rede!! Algumas precisam de um "empurrão" para funcionar ou não!! Geralmente as mais "problemáticas" são as realtek(s) da vida....

No terminal, digite o comando:

lspci - k
iwconfig

e post aqui os resultados

Boa tarde,

Seu modem está ligado, ativo? Já conferiu se a tecla LAN está acesa? Pergunto porque já ocorreu de a rede do zé não estava "no ar" e ficamos "lapidando o cérebro" até altas horas.....

Sim, meu modem esta ligado, eu consigo acessar minha internet e acessar outras redes normalmente no meu outro PC, nesse aqui Ubuntu 14.04 nao consigo encontrar outras redes.. o icone no notbook que indica o wifi nao esta ligado, so consigo fazer conexao cabeada.

A grande pergunta é: Você sem querer não desligou a wifi involuntariamente? Vc tem ai no note uma tecla de funções que ativa/desativa o wifi. Veja ai porque a placa é intel e foi detectada pelo ubuntu.

Boa tarde, entao se realmente foi alguma tecla de atalho foi um acidente alguem pode ter mechido aqui na minha ausencia, pois ja tentei reeligar com a tecla FN+F11 F12 F4 e nada do wi-fi ligar, sabe algum outro modo que possa min ajuda a ligar?
