Galera, tenho um servidor rodando no net como servidor de hospedagem.

Visando melhorar ainda mais a segurança do servidor me sugeriram instalar o fail2ban.

Depois de instalado verifiquei as configurações do mesmo e percebi que a configuração inicial pode ser copiada do jail.conf para jail.local.

Acontece que no servidor estamos utilizando o lighttpd, que não possui nas configurações do fail2ban, tentei adicionar de algumas formas mas não acertei o ponto, alguém já fez isso ou tem ideia de como fazer

Esse é o arquivo jail.conf para quem não conhece ainda. Assim fica mais mais de entenderem

3. Consegui achar a solução

Amigos pinguins

Achei a solução para esse problema e claro irei compartilhar com todos.

Primeiro vamos olhar se o filtro esta criado, esse arquivo fica dentro de /etc/fail2ban/filter.d e o nome dele é lighttpd-fastcgi.conf

Se ele tiver ta certinho, caso não tenha basta criar o arquivo com o seu editor favorito e colocar o que esta abaixo no conteúdo.

Agora no arquivo de configuração do fail2ban, no meu caso segui a recomendação então no meu caso
vi /etc/fail2ban/jail.local

Coloque o que esta abaixo

Reinicie o fail2ban
/etc/init.d/fail2ban restart

E ai esta, verifique se ficou tudo certo olhando o log que fica em
/var/log/fail2ban.log
