internet não funciona

Olá pessoal, achei que meu problema estava resolvido depois que reinstalei o SO, e de fato melhorou um pouco mas ainda continua com o mesmo problema, a minha internet funciona muito bem no cabo e do lado do wi-fi quando pega 4 e 3 pontos, mas quando o wi-fi fica com 2 pontos e 1 ponto diz que não tem rede.

isso já aconteceu no Ubuntu 16.04 , Linux mint 18.1 Cinnamon e Linux Pepperline.

atualmente usando Pepperline, HELP

Se for algum drive desatualizado me diz como eu baixo e instalo corretamente, fico grato :)
