Resolução da tela

Boa tarde !!


Instalei o Ubuntu 8.04 hj e quando eu habilito o compiz a minha resolução que é de 1280x900 passa para 1024x800.

Tenho uma placa de video nvidia fx5200


segue o meu xorg.conf

Voce pode retornar a resolução de tela indo no menu em sistema> preferências > rsolução de tela.
Agora deve ter a resolução que você quer no /etc/X11/xorg.conf
assim

Depth 24
Modes "1440x900" "1440x900" "1152x864" "1024x768" "832x624" "800x600" "720x400" "640x480" "640x350"

No meu caso eu troquei a resolução de 1024x768 por 1440x900. Assim ele não teve como fugir.

Para editar o xorg.conf você tem que ser root.
Faça um backup do xorg conf antes de mandar bala. Se der nhaca é só voltar o arquivo velho.
