Primeiro faça o logon no Librix como root.

Clique no Menu K | Acessórios | Konsole ou CTRL + ALT + F1.

Digite o comando:

# adsl-setup

Irão aparecer as seguintes mensagens para configuração:

Welcome to the Roaring Pinguim ADSL client setup. First, I will run somechecks on your system to make sure the PPPoE client is installed properly...

Looks good ! Now, please enter some informaration:

Após essa mensagem insira o e-mail fornecido pelo provedor do cliente, depois pressione enter e após isso aparecerá:

INTERFACE

For Linux, it will be ethn, where 'n' is a number (default eth0): Após essa mensagem pressionar enter.

If you want it to come up on demand, enter the idle time in seconds after which the link to stay up permanently, enter 'no' (two letters, lower case) Note: Demand-activated links do not interact well with dynamic IP addresses. You may have some problems with demand-activated links

Após essa mensagem, pressione enter.

DNS

Nesse momento insira o endereço de DNS primário fornecido pelo (Speedy, Vivax, Ajato, etc) e pressione Enter.

Please enter the IP address of your (SP's) secondary DNS server. If you just press enter, I will assume there is only one DNS server.

Inserir o DNS secundário fornecido pelo (Speedy, Vivax, Ajato, etc.) e pressione Enter.

PASSWORD

FIREWALLING

The firewall choices are:

0 - None: Desabilita o Firewall
1 - Standalone: Estação de trabalho
2 - Masquerade: Gateway para Internet

>>> Choose type of firewall (0-2): Inserir o numero zero (0) para desabilitar firewall de conexão.(Por padrão o Librix não vai com nenhum Firewall instalado).
