Quando vou habilitar os efeitos da area de trabalho da o seguinte erro:

Os efeitos da área de trabalho não puderam ser habilitados

Olhem o meu xorg.conf como esta, alguém me ajuda??

Obs: no device ja mudei nv para nvidia, só que aí não loga a tela fica preta e tenho que backupear o xorg.conf, espero ajuda

Seja mais especifico com o tipo de efeitos que deseja habilitar...e q distro vc está usando??
Seriam efeitos do beryl??

Estou usando o Ubuntu 7.04, e quero usar os efeitos XGL+beryl

Se já tem o beryl instalado não precisa ir em habilitar efeitos na área de trabalho. Lança o beryl do terminal com o comando:

$ beryl-manager

Se não der nemhum erro, você pode procurar o ícone dele no painel superior do seu desktop quando quiser usa-lo da proxima vez. Se der algum erro poste aqui para ajudarmos posteriormente. Pelo menos quando testei o Ubuntu 7.04 em meu PC eu instalei o beryl e ele rodou de boa sem precisar configurar nada. Também instalei ele no PC de um amigo com Ubuntu 7.04 da mesma forma e tá rodando até hoje sem nenhum problema.
