Ola amigos, instalei o ubuntu no meu pc p descobrir as maravilhas do linux, ñ sei absolutamente nada do ubuntu, mas estou descobrindo aos poucos c pesquizas e estou gostando de brincar c o linux. Mas ainda bato cabeça com alguns problemas, quando eu abro o ubuntu, em questão de alguns minutos aparece a seguinte mensagem.....

Não foi possível inicializar as informações do pacote

Um problema impossível de se resolver ocorreu enquanto inicializava as informações do pacote.

Por favor reporte esse erro do pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:

'E:Tipo '123456' não é conhecido na linha 55 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list, E:A lista de fontes não pode ser lida.'

Algum colega de plantão sabe como resolver o lance?

talvez voce tenha que trocar teu sources.

dai depois de trocar tente dar um apt-get update

vc vai fazer o seguinte:
vai abrir o console( Alt +F2 e vai digitar: gnome-terminal)

aí vc vai digitar:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/source.list
quando vc der enter vai pedir a senha de root
vc digita ela e vai abrir um bloco de notas com o source list.
aí vc vai apagar o conteudo dele e vai copiar essas sources daqui:

aí vc vai salvar e vai fechar o arquivo
depois de fechado, ainda no console vc vai digitar

sudo apt-get update

ele vai atualizar a lista do repositorio
depois vc vai digitar

sudo apt-get upgrade

e ele vai atualizar seu SO

ele disse certinho mas para atualizar o sistema é dist-upgrade

apt-get update é para atualizar a lista de pacotes que é usada quando voce usa o synaptic ou dá um apt-get install.
