gerenciador de pacotes Synaptic [RESOLVIDO]

Galera sou um novo usuario linux e um apaixonado linux, mais, tô com um problema . Eu estava mexendo aqui e não sei o que fiz, que parou de funcionar o gerenciador de pacotes Synaptic.Quando clico nele aparece um tela com essa mensagem e pronto, mais nada. Peço ajuda por favor.

E: Tipo 'N.B.' não é conhecido na linha 12 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list
E: A lista de origens não pôde ser lida.
Configure as opções de repositórios para corrigir o problema.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Poste aqui o resultado de

cat /etc/apt/sources.list > arquivo.txt

Basta vc abrir o "arquivo.txt" e o resultado estará lá para vc copiar e postar aqui e depois editar, se necessário.

O comando 'cat --number /etc/apt/sources.list', postado pelo colega Josinaldo foi mais propício. Vou aderí-lo.
VLW Josinaldo.

Faça o seguinte, comente (coloque um # na frente da linha) as linhas: 12 à 14, 20 à 24, 30 e 31.

Descomente (retire o # da frente da linha) as seguintes linhas: 5, 9, 15 e 17, 25 e 27, 37, 44, 49, 52, 54, 56.

Onde tem: 'deb-src', pode comentar todas as linhas.

Se não precisa dos repositórios Gutsy, pode deixar como está ou remova-os.
Depois SALVE E FECHE.

No terminal: sudo apt-get update

Como faço para comentar (#)? Pois quando digito no terminal "cat --number /etc/apt/sources.lis" aparece a lista no terminal e não sei como adicinar o comando.

Pelo editor Gedit: sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Depois salve e feche e aplique: sudo apt-get update

São repositórios de outra versão do Ubuntu que não deveriam estar no arquivo. Para ser exato, a maioria é da versão 7.10 ou "Gutsy Gibbon". Os dois últimos são da versão 10.04.

Olá, sou novo no linux e esctou com o mesmo problema postado neste forum. Abri o sudo apt-get update e dá o mesmo erro. Já o resultado do sudo gedit /ect/apt/sources.list foi
