Aqui eu testei um arquivo compactado com senha 123 e o programa soltou estas mensagens:
Probing: 'ix' [403 pwds/sec]
Probing: 'BR' [399 pwds/sec]
Probing: 'Vg' [401 pwds/sec]
Probing: '0eH' [401 pwds/sec]
Probing: '0y9' [402 pwds/sec]
Probing: '0Ru' [399 pwds/sec]
GOOD: password cracked: '123'
E o XML ficou assim:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<rarcrack>
<abc>0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ</abc>
<current>125</current>
<good_password>123</good_password>
</rarcrack>
Por aqui ficou tudo certo. Você testou integridade do arquivo .zip? Testou se ele extrai normalmente com senha 123?
Eu usei a linha de comando
rarcrack --thread 2 --type zip file.zip adequada ao meu processador.

Encryption works. Properly implemented strong crypto systems are one of the few things that you can rely on. Unfortunately, endpoint security is so terrifically weak that NSA can frequently find ways around it. — Edward Snowden
