Olha parece que a solução foi colocar os efeitos visuais em "nenhum". Bom, creio que já ta funcionando bem então obrigado a todos XD

Em cada comentário que não for o seu tem uma caixa para marcar a 'Melhor Resposta'. Escolha a que de fato resolveu seu problema.
Isso é muito importante para aqueles que pesquisam para encontrar a solução rapidamente pelo sistema de buscas do Google/VOL.

No terminal: sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
Feche seu navegador e instale o pacote acima, depois abra o navegador e veja se parecem os botões que citei em seu tópico.

Quando estou instalando diz ser impossível encontrar o pacote.

Vamos ver como está o Sources.List, mais cedo ou mais tarde teria que ver mesmo, então vamos ver isso agora.

No terminal: sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Cole o resultado aqui.
Outra coisa, abra o Canais de Software e em: 'Baixar de', escolha 'Servidor Principal'.
Tem mais coisa, vou iniciar o Ubuntu e verificar, por enquanto faça isso. Já volto.

O comando não funcionou, deu command not found , quando mudei para servidor principal ele está atualizando o cache.

Porque não deu os devidos espaços, a sintaxe dos comandos deve ser rigorosamente seguida.
É melhor copiar e colar.
Se o Canais de Software está atualizando, é bom sinal.

Nossa! Iniciei o Ubuntu e tem 106MB de atualizações, inclusive de kernel. Caraca!
Vou atualizar e depois retorno.

As atualizações são grandes msm, qualquer coisa roubo HD do Vista hhe.
