Nao conecta WiFi no Kubuntu 20.04

Bom dia a todos!
Sou novo em SO Linux. Acabei de instalar Kubuntu 20.04 no meu velho notebook HP Pavilion dv6700.
Entao, nesse notebook fiquei com Windows 7 e Kubuntu. Acontece que o WiFi funciona normalmente no Windows 7 mas nao no Kubuntu.
No Kubuntu, ele ve as redes disponiveis (eu tenho 2), mas nao conecta a nenhuma delas. Eu configurei a senha certinho, igual no Windows, mas nao vai, ele fica pedindo a chave inumeras vezes. So em muitissimo poucas vezes, ele consegue conectar, mas, mesmo assim, nao passa dados, o navegador mostra mensagem de falta de servidor, e o icone de WiFi fica com um sinalzinho de interjeicao em laranja, e passando um tempinho, ele desconecta de novo.

No Ubuntu/Xubuntu/Lubuntu eu abriria o programa drivers adicionais e veria se há algum driver para ser instalado ou ativado.
Mas não tenho certeza se Kubuntu tem esse aplicativo ou equivalente

Como o Kubuntu é derivado do Ubuntu procurar pela opção “Configurações do sistema”
Depois escolhe a opção de “Programas e atualizações” lá tem uma guia chamada "Drivers Adicionais"
Lá você consegue instalar drivers do seu hardware atualizados para seu dispositivo.

N~ao achei "Programas e atualizacoes". Nao sei se 'e porque mudaram na versao 20.04.

Amigos,
Ap'os v'arios dias com contratempos, sem poder estar aqui, voltei hoje a mexer no Linux.
E parace que, depois de v'arias atualiza'c~oes autom'aticas, o WiFi est'a funcionando!! Por'em......
O 'icone do WiFi no canti direito inferior da tela continua com um sinalzinho alaranjado de ponto de interjei'c~ao. N~ao sei se devo me preocupar com ele.
Um outro problema a ser resolvido agora 'e o teclado de portugu^es. Este notebook possui um teclado "English US". Algu'em pode me dizer por onde posso modificar a configura'c~ao?

'E, amigos,
O meu WiFi, embora "funcionando", t'a muito lento.
Fiz um teste de velocidade agora, deu abaixo de 1 mbp/s tanto download como upload. Veja a foto anexa.
Ao colocar o mouse sobre o 'icone de WiFi, aparece a mensagem de conex~ao limitada.
