Dúvida sobre xorg.conf

Eu tenho um notebook da intelbras modelo i21,ele não tem uma placa de vídeo da Gforce,porém tem uma placa de vídeo compartilhada de até 256MB da marca "SiS".

Gostaria de configurar o meu xorg.conf para ter resolução de 1024x768.

Aqui está os dados do meu xorg.conf:

Execute o comando abaixo e cole o resultado aqui para sabermos qual o driver da sua placa de vídeo:

# lspci |grep VGA# lspci |grep VGA

opções das placas SiS... cada fabricante que produz drivers pra linux, ou os projetos de drivers do xorg.conf, têm opções próprias que são inclusas no xorg.conf para (digo eu) melhorar ou auxiliar no funcionamento das placas...

é a seção screen que determina a resolução máxima do vídeo. Pode copiar e colar, tirando a resolução 1280x1024 (notes não dão suporte a ela em geral).

Salva uma cópia do xorg.conf antes de mexer nele.
