1. Não consigo instalar o DHCP3-SERVER [RESOLVIDO]

Prezados boa noite,

Sou iniciante no linux, estou com uma grande dificuldade para instalar um servidor dhcp3-server, quando digito o comando sudo apt-get install dhcp3-server aparece a seguinte mensagem:

Lendo lista de pacotes... Pronto
Construindo árvore de dependências
Reading state information... Pronto
E: Impossível achar pacote dhcp3-server

já digitei o comando sudo apt-get update
e também o comando " " upgrade

e também o "apt-setup" mas esse não acontece nada, da como inexistente.

alguém pode me ajudar a sanar este problema?

Obs: Utilizo o Ubuntu 7.10, preciso testar um servidor dhcp. Se tiver outra possibilidade de fazer a instalação.

Boa noite, verifique seu arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list e atualize o repositorio.

Atualizei o repositorio conforme o Korvoman me indicou, reiniciei o Ubuntu e logo de cara dei o comando pra instalar o dhcp3,instalou de primeira. Show de bola!!! Valeu galera, obrigado pela ajuda. Breve estou de volta pra tirar mais dúvidas que surgirem e é claro no que eu puder ajudar a galera que está tambem iniciando no linux.

Na realidade eu acrescentei todo o conteúdo que foi apresentado no sources.list

Vale lembrar que o source.list era lá do ubuntu 7. verifique a versão de sua distribuição e repositório.

Amigos, talvez eu possa ajudar bem eu tive o mesmo problema, simplesmente eu tive que editar o arquivo sources.list e liberei os comentarios que estavam barrando baixar as instalações dos repositorios...
