Muito estranho, mas não encontrei no menu das perguntas CUPS ou CUPSYS...mas vamos lá.

Estou configurando um servidor de impressão com o Cups, estou acessando pela minha rede interna via browser:

https://192.168.1.178:631

Lindo! Mas quando clico em Administration por exemplo, tenho o seguinte erro:

426 Upgrade Required

You must access this page using the URL https://192.168.1.178:631/admin/.

E depois de um tempo exibe a seguinte mensagem no Firefox:

192.168.1.178:631 usa um certificado de segurança inválido.

O certificado não é considerado confiável porque é auto-assinado.
O certificado é válido somente para postfix.yazigi.com.br.

(Código do erro: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)

No IE o mesmo erro!

Segue meu cupsd.conf:

Galera,

Desculpe, mas era problema de certificado da página...

Eu não sabia que o Cups pedia acesso com HTTPS!

Adicionei o certificado nos browsers "na mão" e deu certo.

Mesmo assim, tem como desabilitar isso?

Gostaria que o Cups acessasse via HTTP mesmo...já que somente na rede interna teremos acesso.

ainda estou apanhando no CUPS... com o mesmo erro que o seu...

Voce pode relatar como foi que resolveu seu problema.

Então amigo,

Eu inclui os certificados do meu servidor no IE e Firefox. O IE não fez questão e deixou acessar sem configurações adicionais (e a segurança??? Também não sei onde foi parar...)

No Firefox:
Ferramentas;
Opções;
Na seção Avançado;
Certificados;
Na aba Servidores, clique em Adicionar exeção;
Coloque o endereço IP ou Host do seu servidor Cups.

Confirme as informações e tente acessar novamente.

Consegui sem problemas depois disso!
