Boa tarde galera! Não estou conseguindo conectar o notebook na TV pela entrada HDMI. Não funciona nem áudio nem vídeo; é como se a TV não identificasse o sinal. Os equipamentos estão descritos no campo "Assunto" e o sistema operacional é o Ubuntu 16.10. Uso um outro Dell do trabalho com SO Windows que funciona perfeitamente então creio que o problema é alguma configuração ou driver faltante. Alguma dica? Obrigado antecipadamente.

Mande a saída dos comandos:
lspci 
glxgears 

Conecte na TV e digite:
xrandr 
MAnde a saída

Para conectar a Tv tente o comando, se a tv estiver a esquerda do pc:

Acabei dando os dois comandos, à direita e a esquerda...
Mas enfim, segue sem funcionar. Uma coisa que eu esqueci de mencionar é que este notebook já está meio detonado, com as entradas um pouco oxidadas. Apesar disso, segue funcionando. As vezes aquece e reinicia sozinho, e olhe que eu moro em lugar frio.

Bom, tentou o comando do Xorg conectado ao HDMI na Tv? Faça só um deles, como eu disse, depende do lado que você deixou a TV. E agora não preciso da saída de glxheads.

Só vi esse seu post depois. Mande a saída de glxheads. Mesmo estando meio oxidadas não tem tanto problema, eu tenho um pc velho com diversos anos e com Usb oxidado, mas funciona.
