digite isso no terminal:

sudo kate /etc/udev/rules.d/meu_modem.rules 

Copie e cole esse conteúdo abaixo :

ATTRS{idVendor}=="19d2",ATTRS{idProduct}=="2000",RUN+="/sbin/modprobe usbserial vendor=0x19d2 product=0x2000" KERNEL=="ttyUSB[23]",ACTION=="add",ATTRS{idVendor}=="19d2",ATTRS{idProduct}=="2000",RUN+="/bin/sleep 2" 

 

salve. reconecte o modem!! Aguarde uns 15 a 20 segundos e veja se ele foi reconhecido pelo gerenciador de rede.

Não estou entendendo o monte de lixo no arquivo acima, pois ele deveria conter apenas isso:

Tente apenas mais um ato de coragem (rsrs).

Rode isso (cada linha é um comando):

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install usb_modeswitch

Reinicie seu computador e plugue o modem nele.
